Do Pokemon Ivs Change When They Evolve

Practice 4's change with evolve?

Just recently found a perfect IV Mudkip and i really wanna bring it to max. potential. But i've heard from multiple friends that Four change when evolving. I tried to look information technology up and people brought up that peradventure what changes are not the Four, but rather the accurateness of the Four calculation.

Then is at that place a definitive answer or has someone tested/ had personal experiences?

IVs don't change but if the IVs are calculated from a diversity of combinations they have the possibility to modify. Then if you're fairly sure that your Pokemon has a certain 4 distribution, it should keep information technology through evolution

IVs only change with trading, and will remain the same thru power ups and evolutions.

Yeah, those people are right. The IVs stay the aforementioned, merely sometimes your Calc will say something similar 89-93% because it tin can't make up one's mind the exact values, so after yous evolve it may say for example 87-89%, and so with that you tin exist certain it's 89%

Evolving a Pokemon (and using TM'southward to alter its moves) doesn't change the IV's, and then you can evolve your mudkip and it will all the same exist perfect

In addition to all the other answers about range accuracy, in your specific instance it should be obvious if it'south really 100% because that tin be seen from the ingame appraisement alone because each of the sentences is the highest/all-time one. If that's the case, you're safe to evolve.

99.999% of the time you'll be fine only .001% of the time the game will glitch and the IV volition change. I've heard of a couple perfect IV mons going down but non many.

Mine simply did that. From 100% to a 92%

The IV inverse for me bringing a Koffing IV 93 brought me a Weezing with IV 73... :'(
